Assistant Management Accountant – EU OPEX
Leeds / Hybrid
We are looking for a motivated and conscientious Assistant Management Accountant to support our EU Opex Finance team with the preparation, review and publication of accurate, relevant and timely management information. They will help to provide insight into business performance and assist stakeholders with decision making.
This would be a great opportunity for someone studying towards a formal accountancy qualification such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA.
What You’ll Do:
Support with the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and a consistent approach is applied.
Produce accurate accruals and prepayments.
Provide commentary, analysis and insight into the Opex monthly financials with a focus on EU Opex.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations across various entities within Europe.
Support the FP&A team by highlighting risks and opportunities to the monthly reforecast.
Identify improvements and efficiencies to the Opex reporting and month end processes.
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
What You’ll Need:
Highly numerate and working towards a qualification in accountancy such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.
Have a can-do attitude and work well within a team.
