Founded in 2023, we operate in the Software Development industry, focusing on devsecops, developer tooling, AI, and AI code generation. We offer an Enterprise Model Context Protocol (MCP) Platform, designed to securely connect AI agents and models to the data and systems within corporate firewalls. This platform helps improve AI outcomes by enabling secure MCP deployment, centralizing context, and managing MCP servers at scale, boosting developer productivity.

Our platform has several components. The Registry curates a catalog of trusted servers. The Runtime deploys and manages MCP servers in Kubernetes clusters with security guardrails. The Gateway provides a single endpoint for tool access, and the Portal offers administrative control and knowledge worker access to context. These components can be used separately or as a complete platform. Our platform supports enterprise needs like user access oversight, shadow AI management, server deployment control, centralized management, regulatory compliance, and efficient tool metadata filtering to optimize token usage and costs.

Enterprises can run all local and remote servers from their private cloud, bypassing SaaS solutions. Our platform uses trusted technology to bridge enterprise and agentic systems. It is a hardened distribution of ToolHive, our Apache 2 licensed open-source project, which we build in the open with the community. ToolHive aims to drive developer adoption and establish itself as a platform for building with MCP.

We partner with Fortune 500 financial services firms, Global 2000 software category leaders, and Fortune 500 technology companies. Craig McLuckie, co-creator of Kubernetes and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, is our founder and CEO. Our investors include Accel, Madrona, and Bain Capital.

Roles are hybrid or fully remote, depending on the team and location, offering a flexible workspace. We are a remote-first team, though some roles require Eastern Time Zone overlap for collaboration.
