Founded in 2017, we are a global research platform focused on the innovation economy. We provide accurate, publicly available information to help global startup ecosystem stakeholders make location-related decisions.

We partner with over 100 governments and major data providers like Crunchbase, Statista, and the UN. We map innovation worldwide through our Global Startup Ecosystem Map, which lists tens of thousands of registered startups, coworking spaces, and accelerators. Each year, we release the free Global Startup Ecosystem Index, which ranks 100 countries and 1000 cities globally. Government officials and decision-makers around the world use these reports.

Our solutions include Ecosystem Development, Corporate Innovation, Research Membership, and Policy Advising. For Ecosystem Development, we help public and private developers increase global visibility, attract investment and talent, benchmark ecosystems, build public portals for local startups, and create policy based on data. Other reports we offer include the Innovators Business Environment Index and Winners in Foodtech. We also have a Global Startup Database with information on over 200,000 startups and host the quarterly Startup Ecosystem Summit. Our services are trusted by organizations like Boston Consulting Group, Siemens, PepsiCo, IBM, and the United Nations Development Programme.

Our mission is to research the global innovation economy and provide customized insights that help our clients achieve their goals. We aim to supply all stakeholders in the global startup ecosystem with accurate, publicly available information so they can make informed decisions about location.

We help ecosystem developers expand their programs by offering mapping, promotion, lead generation, analysis, policy advising, and training. We also support corporate startup programs with promotion, assessment, lead generation, and analysis. A key part of our mission is to provide free, high-quality information to startup founders, enabling them to make smart choices about where to build and relocate their startups.

Our team consists of 11-50 employees. We support remote work, as many of our roles, like the Marketing & Publications Specialist, are fully remote. Our work environment focuses on developing career skills, collaborating with diverse clients, and becoming experts in startup ecosystem development. Our team members include our founder and CEO, Eli David Rokah, alongside various department heads and managers.
