TEAM AND ROLE:
The Trade Operations team manages all post-trade activities and ensures that every transaction in the trade-lifecycle flows seamlessly from start to finish. We are part of the Tickets (THG) team and engage with stakeholders across multiple business functions. In our roles, we ensure that all trade-flows are correct, and that the deal aftercare process is accurate, compliant and in line with the company’s guidelines. The Trade Operations and Tickets teams consistently operate with speed, efficiency, and precision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the operational side of environmental commodities trade processes.
- Engage with stakeholders across various business functions, acting as a key interface between Trading, Commercial, Back Office and Finance teams.
- Manage commercial logistics (contractual execution & regulatory deliveries incl. nominations and documentation) as well as cross-square transactions; ensuring that we stay compliant at all times.
- Support process improvements and optimizations across Trade Operations, and Tickets teams.
- Monitor our position and align closely with our Trader and Risk.
- Maintain and optimize data integrity across systems to support accurate and reliable business operations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of business, economics, finance, or similar with 2 – 5 years relevant work experience.
- Intermediate/ advanced excel skills.
- Fluent German and English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Based in Hamburg with willingness & flexibility to travel occasionally to Amsterdam.
- You demonstrate a proactive, adaptable, and flexible approach, and you enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- You are open to new responsibilities and actively welcome new challenges.
