Location: Hybrid/Remote-Boston, MA
As a Technical Training Administrator II, you will play a key role in developing, coordinating, and delivering technical training that supports organizational performance and operational excellence. You will support both company-wide and client-specific training initiatives, ensuring all programs are aligned with technical standards and evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to evaluate new tools, systems, and processes, and help translate those capabilities into effective learning experiences. You will manage training logistics end-to-end, from scheduling and materials to instructor coordination and classroom readiness. You will provide technical and operational support throughout the training lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and evaluation. You will also maintain essential training data, documentation, and vendor relationships to ensure training programs remain current and effective. You will work under general supervision and resolve moderately complex technical and training-related challenges.
The proposed salary range for this position is $61,878-$68,685. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILTIES
Develops, implements, and revises technical training programs, courses, and catalogs to support company or client initiatives
Prepares and maintains instructor and student materials, including course outlines, manuals, workbooks, handouts, certificates, and training aids
Provides technical and operational support throughout the design, development, evaluation, and promotion of training initiatives
Plans, coordinates, and delivers training events, including scheduling personnel, instructors, facilities, and materials, and conducting classroom sessions, workshops, and seminars
Collaborates with technical rollout teams during pilot sessions, conducting testing, reporting results, and collecting user feedback
Reviews, edits, and maintains training and system documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with upgrades and new software
Maintains training environments, including training rooms, class rosters, instructor outlines, documentation, and training databases; generates reports and related materials as needed
Builds and maintains relationships with external training vendors and stays current on industry trends through technical research and vendor seminars
Provides technical support to operational strategies to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality
May provide training on Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
Identify and escalate opportunities that may support growth within the work area
Participate in growth efforts as requested
Ensure all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer’s satisfaction
Complete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime
Build productive and positive professional relationships with clients within the program
Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education and Years of Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience
Experienced in applying technical standards, principles, and theories to training or operational support work
Ability to solve moderately complex technical and logistical problems with minimal oversight
Strong organizational and project coordination skills, particularly in managing multiple training events simultaneously
Proficiency in evaluating technical documentation and translating complex information into training materials
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, clients, and vendors
Ability to analyze training data and generate meaningful reports to support program performance
Comfortable working independently while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience administering technical training programs or learning management systems
Familiarity with software testing, pilot program support, or user-acceptance testing
Experience coordinating with cross-functional or technical rollout teams
Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design best practices
Proficiency with tools used for data tracking, reporting, or training documentation management
