The Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to help lead frontend development across our web-based platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to develop responsive, scalable, and performant user interfaces. This is a remote, full-time role with a heavy emphasis on clean code, user-centric experiences, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development & Optimization
- Develop and maintain user-facing features with clean and reusable code
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure pixel-perfect UI and a smooth and intuitive user experience
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements, scope and prioritize features to ensure timely delivery
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Optimize for speed, scalability, and performance
- Review code and provide technical feedback to team members
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Mentor and coach junior frontend engineers.
- Participate in agile sprint rituals such as standups and planning.
- Write and maintain internal technical documentation.
- Debug and resolve production issues.
Cross-functional Integration & Architecture
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences aligned with business goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development and explore new technologies
- Refine product requirements, translate them into actionable milestones, and deliver technical solutions that align with product goals
- Provide insights on product direction based on technical feasibility and performance considerations
Contribute to making architectural decisions for long-term flexibility and success
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building dynamic and responsive web applications
- Expert understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem, specifically around React, TypeScript, and testing frameworks
- Expert understanding of user-centered design principles, design systems, and responsive design
- Demonstrated experience in improving web application performance
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative, Agile environment
- Bonus points: experience with DataDog, server-side rendered applications, and CMS-driven applications
Nice to have:
- Experience with DataDog and performance monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with CMS integrations and server-side rendering (SSR) environments.
