Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy / Power BI Developer and Administrator with 6–8 years of expertise in business intelligence, data visualization, and platform administration. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical proficiency with solid business acumen and design sensibility to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and ensure the smooth operation of BI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Development & Reporting:
o Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy and Power BI.
o Create optimized data models and implement advanced DAX expressions for accurate and efficient analytics.
o Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and provide actionable insights aligned with accounting and IFRS reporting standards.
o Ensure visual consistency and clarity through effective data visualization design.
• MicroStrategy Administration:
o Manage MicroStrategy environment including user management, security roles, project setup, and access controls.
o Handle metadata maintenance, server configuration, scheduling, and report distribution.
o Monitor system performance, perform upgrades, patch installations, and troubleshoot server or application issues.
o Coordinate with IT and database teams to ensure platform stability and data integrity.
o Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes.
• Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as an analytical advisor, guiding business stakeholders with insights and recommendations.
o Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting attitude in driving BI initiatives forward.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience: 6–8 years in BI development and administration, with strong experience in MicroStrategy and Power BI.
• Technical Expertise:
o Advanced knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture, administration, and security management.
o Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and data modelling.
o Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Business Knowledge: Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Finance.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Design Sense: A keen eye for layout, design, and data visualization aesthetics.
