This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture, supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms, along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture
Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models and frameworks.
Establish data governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
Data Engineering
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS.
Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.
Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
Engage with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.
Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.
Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).
Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).
Experience in cloud platforms.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.
Proven experience designing end-to-end data solutions.
Domain Expertise
Experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.
Understanding of financial data, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial environments.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
Strong leadership, ownership, and mentoring capabilities.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools.
