  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, HR, and leadership teams to integrate EHS into daily business practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation, compliance records, hazard registers, audit reports, and training data within EHS systems

Qualifications

Here is what you’ll bring to the table:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety such as NEBOSH, NZ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or similar
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within high-risk industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, port operations, or similar
  • Strong working knowledge of New Zealand EHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience in incident investigation, auditing, injury management, and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A collaborative and consultative leadership style with strong coaching and mentoring capability
  • Experience working with EHS systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and remain resilient under pressure
