Job description
The Supply Chain Coordinator provides day-to-day operational support to the Supply Chain Manager by executing inventory, logistics, and supply chain coordination activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating deliveries and shipments, monitoring supply levels, and supporting data reporting and process improvement efforts. The position requires strong attention to detail, timely follow-through, and effective communication with internal teams and external vendors.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Standard work hours are 9:00am- 5:00pmEST in the West Chester office. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs., if required.
Responsibilities
Inventory Tracking & Control
- Accurately maintain inventory records within the inventory management system, including deliveries, shipments, usage, and stock levels
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and reconciliations
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Supply Chain Manager of potential shortages, overages, or discrepancies
- Assist with tracking material usage and consumption trends
Logistics & Scheduling Support
- Coordinate and track delivery and shipment schedules to support operational and project needs
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and follow up on delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Assist with scheduling deliveries to align with field and project timelines
- Ensure all shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation is completed accurately and on time
Data Entry, Analysis & Reporting
- Enter and maintain accurate supply chain and inventory data
- Compile inventory, shipment, and usage data into standard reports
- Assist with basic analysis of inventory trends and demand patterns
- Provide timely updates and status reports to the Supply Chain Manager
Cross-Functional Communication
- Communicate with Project Managers and Field Technicians regarding material availability and delivery timelines
- Respond to routine inventory and logistics inquiries in a timely manner
- Escalate supply issues, shortages, or delays to the Supply Chain Manager as needed
Supplier & Process Support
Assist with supplier communications related to order status and delivery confirmations
Support documentation of supply chain procedures and workflows
Participate in process improvement initiatives under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager
Associateโs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, preferred
1โ3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or operations support roles
Experience using inventory management systems, ERP software, or similar platforms
Familiarity with shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry and reporting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., if required
