The Field Marketing Specialist is a key contributor role with Tipalti’s North America Marketing Team. The role supports the logistical execution of third-party trade shows, hosted events, and regional field events to support the Global Go-To Market Sales teams. Reporting to the Director, Field Marketing & Events, the Field Marketing Specialist works across departments within the greater Demand Generation function to execute effective programs, as well as portfolio marketing, design, content and sales teams. A successful candidate will have the ability to build strong connections with key stakeholders, balance multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment, executive effectively, and have strong attention to detail.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Event Planning & Execution
- Maintain events calendar and build event strategy in partnership with Field Marketing and Sales leaders
- Assist in processes including creating overview documents, presentations, managing projects in Asana, and crafting creative briefs.
- Identify and research event activities to help build relationships with existing prospects and drive new prospects and pipeline
- Acquire sponsorship information, organize deliverables, and negotiate contracts
- Manage onsite event logistics and coordination for all attendees (employees, prospects, customers, speakers, etc)
- Secure and arrange necessary event elements such as event space, audio-visual requirements, booth collateral, catering, and shipping
- Manage communications with Account Executives, Sales Development Reps, and Sales leaders for pre and post event outreach.
Digital Marketing Elements
- Build landing pages for hosted events and monitor registrations, attendance/no-show, and conversion.
- Create campaign level budgets to track campaign spend and help Director with strategic planning
- Upload events lead lists to help project owners with reporting
- Pull reports to help with event insights and enable the sales team in their prospect outreach.
- Build email and LinkedIn touchpoint sequences for Sales Development Reps to help drive registrations to events, or with follow-ups.
- Distribute post-event surveys and collect feedback from internal attendees across marketing and sales.
- Research ancillary event ideas and venues across territories to support project owners (e.g. restaurants, experiential vendors).
About you
- 2-3 years of experience in project management, sales, or marketing
- Experience working at a B2B or B2C, technology company
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
- Strong organizational & project management skills
- Detail oriented and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
- Strategic, proactive, and outcome-oriented mindset in the planning and execution of a high-impact marketing plan
- Crisis management skills with a solution oriented mindset. Must be adaptable to change and feedback
- Technical skills in Asana, Salesforce, and Outreach would be an asset
Unique aspects of this role
Travel:
- Moderate overnight travel anticipated (20-30%)
Schedule:
- Normal workweek business hours within geographic location and time zone.
- May require flexibility to coordinate schedules across time zones with internal teams and external customers and contacts.
Physical aspects:
- Position is located onsite/in-office three days per week.
- Prolonged sitting and/or standing at workstation.
- Prolonged computer and/or telephone usage.
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
- Visual acuity at close ranges.

Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $79,000 CAD annually.
Bonus: Target bonus is 8% of base salary. Bonus entitlement is based on a combination of organizational results, individual performance, and relative contribution, as assessed by Tipalti in its sole discretion, to be formalized and communicated to you following your start date.
