Job Description
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a creative and organized German-fluent content and field marketing specialist to turn vaylens into the go-to source for fleet- and charge point operators in the DACH region. This role will report to our Brand and Marketing Manager and work closely with our DACH Sales and Product Management teams to create valuable content, communications, and event experiences that are worth remembering and coming back for. Our ideal candidate has a few years’ experience in one or few of these disciplines for SaaS brands: content marketing, copywriting, and/or field marketing.
What you’ll be working on
Content production, localization and optimization:
Create, edit, and localize content in liaison with Sales, Product Management, and Software Development teams for our DACH website and campaigns (i.e. employee content, blog articles, one-pagers, reports, case studies, email sequences, newsletters); and implement on-page SEO and copy improvements across our DACH website based on user data and testing.
Social media production and localization:
Produce, repurpose, and localize content for our organic social media channels (i.e. LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram) and other relevant channels (i.e. sales, events, PR) to reach our audiences and maximize our content’s value and impact.
Local events management:
Plan, produce and coordinate all content, communications, logistics and deliveries for on-site and online events in Germany and Austria.
Qualifications
What we expect from you
- You have impeccable writing and communication skills in German, but you’re comfortable interacting in English with your team
- You have a portfolio or writing samples showcasing how you’ve translated business objectives, user-, and SEO-findings into successful content strategies across channels
- You have a proven track record of working with website management systems and co-creating content with sales, product management, and/or software development teams
- You understand that writing for algorithms does not outweigh providing value to our audience; you’re meticulous in ensuring your writing speaks to our audience from the get-go
- You are organized and can manage multiple tasks under time pressure
- You can travel across Germany and Austria to support your team at events once every two months
