Job Overview
We are seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our growing Information Technology (IT) team. In this role, you will package, deploy, and support desktop applications in our environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoints while ensuring systems remain secure and compliant with firm policies.
This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago office, with a minimum in-office requirement of one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Microsoft Intune solutions for enterprise endpoint management, including device standards, security policies, and application deployment
- Oversee the management and lifecycle of corporate endpoints such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets across in office and remote environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Troubleshoot Intune services, application deployment, updates, and device related issues
- Create and maintain Power Apps for internal processes
- Track inventory and purchase equipment as needed for onboarding and laptop replacements
- Establish and enforce endpoint security in alignment with firm data protection standards, compliance requirements, and IT governance policies
- Monitor, maintain, and deploy software updates on a consistent, ongoing basis
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot issues and continuously optimize endpoint management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) certification or equivalent
- 5 or more years of relevant Microsoft Intune experience and endpoint management solutions
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint management, security, and compliance within Microsoft Intune
- Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)
- Knowledge of networking concepts, Active Directory, and group policy management
- Customer-focused mindset with a desire to help others
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining security and compliance
Preferred Requirements
- Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) certification
- Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification
- Experience working in a company that has an established IT department
- Experience working with a Managed Service Provider
