Job Description
For complex infrastructure projects in the Aviation sector in Portugal, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in the construction or modernization of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure.
In this key role, you will take on the strategic leadership of complex construction projects—from planning to successful handover.
Your Responsibilities:
- Holistic project management of construction projects in the field of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure
- Responsibility for planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
- Leading interdisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors, specialist planners)
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards
- Communication with authorities, airport operators, and other stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress and initiating corrective actions
- Ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and quality-assured project delivery
Qualifications
- 7 - 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects in airport infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of construction and design of passenger terminals and airport infrastructure
- Degree in civil engineering, architecture, project management, or a comparable field
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Fluent Portuguese and English required; additional languages are a plus
