Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Capture Manager to join a new, dynamic IR&D team focused on scaling our Agentic AI orchestration product. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of a major company initiative, building a new market for our innovative technology and driving its adoption across the defense and intelligence communities.

Your Role
This isn’t a traditional capture role. We’re looking for a leader who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and can help us build a new business model from the ground up. You will be a key player in a small, fast-moving team, driving the strategic vision and market-making activities for our agentic AI product.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Market Leadership and Customer Shaping: Aggressively identify and shape the emerging market for agentic AI within government customers. You’ll be responsible for creating and communicating the value proposition, educating customers on the “art of the possible,” and influencing their requirements to align with our technology.
- Strategic Alignment: Take ownership of driving alignment between our product development roadmap and the evolving needs of our customers. You’ll act as a voice of the customer, ensuring our technology is positioned to solve real-world problems and anticipate future opportunities.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with capture managers and business development teams across Two Six Technologies. You will work collaboratively to identify opportunities, develop capture strategies, and win deals.
- Pipeline and Quota Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities. This position includes a quota and target for wins, requiring a results-oriented approach and a focus on closing deals.
- Business Model Development: Work with the R&D team to define and iterate on the business model for this new product line, from pricing strategies to go-to-market plans.
- Program Management: This is a small team without a dedicated program manager. You may be asked to take on some program management functions including customer relationships and tactical milestone delivery on our first prototype contracts while we scale.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in capture management, business development, or a similar role within the defense or national security sector.
- A deep understanding of the government procurement process and a track record of successfully shaping and winning contracts.
- A strong interest in and working knowledge of AI/ML, particularly in the context of defense and intelligence applications.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to contribute to the strategic direction of a new business initiative.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
Salary Range
$132,000—$198,000 USD
