Umdasch Group

We are a holding company for Doka, umdasch The Store Makers, and umdasch Industrial Solutions. While the holding company was founded in 2016, our roots go back to 1868 as a carpentry business, and Doka was established in 1958. We employ over 10,000 people and primarily work in construction. Our headquarters are in Amstetten, Austria. We aim for sustainable, profitable growth, driven by new technologies and a focus on sustainability.

Doka develops, produces, and sells or rents formwork and scaffolding solutions for construction. It also offers digital services to improve efficiency and sustainability on construction sites. Doka is part of the UN Global Compact and uses an all-electric truck at its headquarters to cut emissions.

umdasch The Store Makers creates store concepts, shop fittings, and digital solutions for retail. We plan and equip retail spaces for various clients, from global brands to luxury boutiques and individual shops.

umdasch Industrial Solutions provides specialized scaffolding, safety, and maintenance for industrial uses. This includes the scaffolding company AT-PAC.

We aim to partner across a building’s entire lifecycle: from development and planning to execution, outfitting, operation, renovation, deconstruction, and recycling. We use new digital technologies to boost efficiency and productivity, with sustainability as a core focus. We actively innovate through “Global Value Pools” to evaluate new business fields and “Umdasch Group Ventures” to develop and commercialize new business models. Our growth strategy aims for an equally strong market position in Europe, North America, and Asia.
