Position Summary:

This isn’t just a delivery role—it’s a chance to build a high-performing global program. We’re looking for a Group Director, Delivery who can blend strategic vision with a hands-on, operational approach.

You’ll be at the center of our growth, building a delivery team capable of handling a diverse range of technology projects, from strategic advisory to staff augmentation. You’ll not only oversee all delivery operations—from resourcing and finance to process and project health—but also play a crucial role in shaping our business development efforts. This role is for someone who thrives on building systems, organizing complex projects, and leading a team to success while helping us stay ahead of the curve.

Your Role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the program delivery function, establishing the operating model, communication planning, processes, and tools for successful project execution, both on- and offshore
  • Define, manage, and execute a variety of client projects to maximize business objectives, manage expectations, and maintain profitability
  • Directly manage project management team members, providing ongoing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance
  • When needed, recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of client and team excellence and continuous improvement
  • Oversee and deliver weekly internal and client-facing status updates for engagements, including executive-level (C-suite) communications
  • Balance strategic and operational thinking with strong attention to detail and execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent project communication
  • Make resourcing recommendations and monitor team bandwidth and effectiveness; assess program pacing and delivery health to ensure viability
  • Join client and internal meetings to identify evolving needs and opportunities; act as a subject matter expert on delivery processes, capacity, and timelines
  • Lead discussions with key stakeholders to communicate program progress, milestones, and overall delivery health
  • Manage complex project timelines, budgets, scope, and risks to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes
  • Contribute to business development efforts by helping define project scope, resource estimates, and refining processes as we scale
  • Support change management by modeling tactical approaches and managing resources across shifting project needs
  • Minimal travel may be required to client sites

Your Experience. Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of technical project management, ideally in content management systems, eCommerce and digital design environment
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • 7+ years experience managing, leading, and mentoring an internal team and creating a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with managing a variety of technology platforms implementations and solutions, especially Adobe technology and creative solutions
  • Strong cross-functional and cross-geographical leadership skills, with a track record of driving delivery excellence and managing global processes
  • Experience in management and merging project artifacts into a program scale set of artifacts used to orchestrate the larger set of initiatives and optimize delivery and minimize negative risk
  • Project financial management, including budget management, margin, demand forecasting, and resource planning in collaboration with resourcing and operations teams
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, including scheduling, planning, and delivery excellence
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will not be hesitant to have conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the project or program
  • Excellent problem solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills.
  • The ability to be self-directed and work in a dynamic environment with resources of various skills and experience levels to ensure successful delivery
  • Competency with relevant project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and G-Suite
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in an agile framework and hybrid scrumfall environment
  • Excellent client communication experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry

Set Yourself Apart. Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with common development systems and frameworks across a variety of technology-based projects
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Analytics implementations as well as CDP and Adobe Journey Optimizer and Customer Journey Analytics
  • SAFe certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and tools in the industry

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry; and 12+ years of experience in project management in the technology space.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Certificates and Licenses: No certifications are required.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $173,000 - $255,000 annually. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.
