This is an engagement through Upwork’s Contingent Workforce (CW) Team. Our Contingent Workforce Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our CW team members are located all over the world.
We are seeking an experienced Integration Project Manager with a strong foundation in finance and operations to support a company build-out initiative. This role will focus on leading integration efforts for acquired entities while also managing the end-to-end setup of new legal entities across multiple countries. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Work/Project Scope:
- Lead integration efforts for acquired entities across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution for new legal entity creation in various global markets.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external experts to drive successful project outcomes.
- Track milestones, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies related to global entity setup.
- Provide clear, consistent updates and reporting to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Must Haves (Required Skills):
- Strong background in finance with the ability to understand and apply financial concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within integration or global expansion initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to navigate complex, cross-border operational environments.
