As an Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the value creation of the Group’s portfolio companies. You will act as a central interface between the Group, its portfolio companies and their stakeholders, ensuring alignment, effective governance, and performance follow-up.

Your responsabilities:

  • Actively monitor the performance of portfolio companies, ensuring regular follow-up and identifying opportunities for operational and strategic improvement.

  • Support board members in preparing for board meetings, including reviewing materials, aligning internally, and coordinating positions with management and co-investors ahead of discussions.

  • Coordinate and manage the reporting of key events and periodic performance updates of portfolio companies to the Group management.

  • Serve as a bridge between portfolio company management and the expertise available at Group level and as a primary point of contact within the group for all internal inquiries related to the assigned portfolio companies.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio companies, investors, public authorities and industry partners.

  • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences and events to strengthen visibility and foster collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Engineering, Finance, Economics, Engineering Sciences or similar.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience involving building partnerships and collaborating with diverse stakeholder in a B2B environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

  • Solid analytical mindset with the ability to understand financial and operational performance as well as the key drivers of value creation of platforms and projects.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.

  • Understanding of renewables or infrastructure projects and experience in project management is highly valued.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate with diverse teams and experts.

  • Passion for sustainability and the transition to clean energy.

  • Fluency in English with a good mastering of Dutch and/or French.
