We are 174 Power Global, a solar energy company founded in 2017 and wholly owned by Hanwha Energy Corporation. Our headquarters are in Houston, Texas, with our US operations based in Irvine, California. We focus on developing, financing, building, owning, and maintaining utility-scale solar power plants and independent power producer (IPP) projects.

We develop utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and green hydrogen projects across North America. We work with landowners, local communities, and financial investors throughout the project lifecycle. Since 2017, we have signed power purchase agreements for approximately 6.3 gigawatts (GW) and have over 8 GW of additional projects under development and 0.8 GW in operation. Wood Mackenzie has ranked us among the top solar project development companies in the United States. We are part of Hanwha Group, a South Korean conglomerate and Fortune Global 500 company.

Our mission is to provide clean, 100% renewable energy to as many people as possible. We achieve this by partnering with landowners, community members, investors, and other project developers in the U.S. to build solar farms and energy storage facilities.
