Job Description

The Senior Director of Product, Network Reporting Modernization will lead Visa’s next-generation reporting strategy and product portfolio—transforming decades-old, stand-alone reporting into intelligent reporting experiences, self-service UIs, and API-enabled data subscriptions that help clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and FinTechs) access actionable insights when, how, and as fast as their business demands. This leader will define and deliver an AI-first reporting roadmap that embeds ML/GenAI-assisted insights, guided workflows, and intuitive UX to reduce client effort spent on manual reconciliation, accelerate time-to-value, and drive adoption of Visa’s data solutions.

In this role, you will future-proof reporting capabilities for emerging payment innovations—including agentic commerce, on-chain activity and stablecoins, and crypto-related use cases—by shaping a configurable data transformation and reporting engine that supports granular, field-level controls, real-time and streaming delivery options, and premium, customizable products. You will partner closely with Technology, Data Platforms, Network Processing/Modernization, Client Services, Risk & Compliance, Sales, and regional teams to deliver a unified reporting platform connected to the broader Visa portfolio, enabling easier onboarding, best-in-class usability, and new monetization models with an $800M+ revenue ambition.

Essential Functions

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Network Reporting Modernization, including investment cases, sequencing, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead the evolution from stand-alone reports to intelligent reporting and UIs: self-service configuration, guided onboarding, role-based experiences, and seamless attachment to the broader Visa product portfolio.
  • Define an AI-product management agenda for reporting, including ML/GenAI-assisted insights, anomaly detection, predictive and prescriptive analytics, natural-language exploration, and responsible AI guardrails.
  • Deliver a modernized transaction reporting infrastructure that supports fully customizable content, frequency, and delivery (batch, on-demand, real-time, and streaming) and enables API interfaces for advanced clients.
  • Architect product requirements for a next-gen data transformation/reporting engine that enables granular, field-level reporting control, configurable formatting, and transaction-level or aggregated outputs.
  • Future-proof reporting products for emerging payment innovations (e.g., agentic commerce, stablecoins/on-chain activity, crypto), ensuring extensibility of data models, controls, and client experiences.
  • Drive client-focused solutions by partnering with issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, and FinTechs to deeply understand reporting pain points, validate concepts, and iterate through pilots and scaled launches.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of product managers and cross-functional partners (design, data/analytics, engineering, operations) with clear goals, accountability, and development plans.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, and Marketing to package and commercialize premium reporting offerings, define pricing/packaging, and accelerate adoption toward $800M+ revenue targets.
  • Establish operating mechanisms for delivery across matrixed stakeholders: OKRs, program cadence, executive communications, risk management, and dependency planning with platform modernization initiatives.
  • Define and track product health metrics: onboarding time, adoption, engagement, retention, NPS/CSAT, data freshness/latency, quality, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance, privacy, and security requirements are embedded in product design and data delivery, partnering with Risk & Compliance and Legal.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Proven product leadership for enterprise/B2B platforms, data products, analytics, or reporting solutions at global scale.
  • Demonstrated AI product management experience: translating ML/GenAI capabilities into customer value, defining human-in-the-loop experiences, and setting responsible AI requirements.
  • Strong client orientation with experience partnering directly with issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, and FinTechs to define problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience modernizing legacy products into cohesive, user-centered platforms with strong usability, streamlined onboarding, and clear portfolio integration.
  • Expertise in data platforms (APIs, streaming, subscriptions), product instrumentation/metrics, and building extensible reporting architectures.
  • Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and commercialization skills—building business cases, pricing/packaging, and go-to-market plans to drive material revenue impact.
  • Outstanding executive communication and stakeholder management skills in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Comfort leading and developing teams, and influencing cross-functional delivery across product, technology, operations, risk, and regional stakeholders.
