Job Description

Team Summary:

The Value-Added Services (VAS) team is fully accountable for the operating performance and growth of Visa’s solution strategy and sales business. VAS team partners with Visa’s Global/Regional Solution Leads (Acceptance Solutions, Issuing Solutions, Risk and Identity Solutions) and works closely with Cluster/Market Product and other business functions as required to successfully realize the growth of VAS adoption within the markets.

What a Senior Manager, Issuing Solutions Sales does:

Visa is expanding its Value-Added Services (VAS) team in Korea & Mongolia, growing its footprint in the region providing financial institutions, merchants and payment providers with the solutions needed to accelerate their business through state-of-the-art payment technology.

This is a 12-month fixed-term specialist sales position focusing on identifying and generating new business opportunities in Korea and Mongolia region, selling Visa VAS to strategically important clients and partners. The role requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity and self-motivation. A proven track record in sales with qualified success in accretive revenue strategies, pipeline conversion, and enhanced time to revenue.

As Senior Manager, you will lead high-profile sales projects that define Visa’s VAS business in Korea and Mongolia. You’ll stand in the frontline to propose strategic directions, optimize existing processes, and respond to market opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Drive net-new client adoption and revenue growth of Visa VAS through selling the core value proposition of issuing and risk solutions stack and its commercial value
  • Develop, grow and execute against a pipeline of sales opportunities within the payment and commerce landscape across key clients and customer segments
  • Be accountable to meeting annual assigned quota for net new bookings and revenue
  • Drive deep client engagement and new service growth through multi-layer partnership with clients
  • Develop robust collaboration with internal cross-functional stakeholders to drive key deals to closure
  • Understand and use broader Visa assets to support sales advancement with clients

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience with a Master’s degree (e.g. MBA, JD, MD) in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
  • Experience attaining/achieving target-led quotas for sales bookings and revenue generation
  • Experience deploying sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through value based selling approach
  • Strong sales financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the partner ecosystem
  • Ability to work within a matrixed environment to drive sales with solution-focused, client-first mindset
  • Experience of collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment
  • High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box

What will also help:

  • Experience working with issuer/acquirers or global schemes in Korea or Mongolia
  • Experience selling loyalty solutions, risk solutions, or network solutions within the payment industry
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Korean
