Join our dynamic Visa Cybersecurity – Product Security Engineering team, a key component of Visa’s Technology organization, where you will play a crucial role in securing and innovating Visa’s products and services. The role is for a specialist with hands-on generative AI experience, who thrives on solving complex challenges, modernizing legacy code, and embracing cutting-edge technologies like LLMs.
We are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing next generation data platforms to drive incremental revenue.
Essential Functions:
·Hands-on Programming
·Full-stack development contributes to the design of backend, databases and queries, API creations and consumptions, and contributes to frontend UI development.
·Works independently with minimal insight to develop software that conforms to Visa’s high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, and compliance.
·Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
·Improving the productivity of the engineering organization by infusing AI into our coding standards and practices.
·Proven track record of managing and executing multiple high-impact LLM based projects, balancing delivery speed with quality.
· Able to showcase the productivity improvement by collecting relevant metrics.
·Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate.
·Provide third-level support to business users.
·Keep up with current and developing engineering trends
-Design, Architect and Implement high robust system designs as per the growing needs
·Contribute to the roadmap for the product
·Work with architects, systems analysts, project managers and other developers to efficiently implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
• Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Python and related technologies.
• Experience in Gen AI, Big data and UI technologies will be an added advantage.
• Experience with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent and low latency
systems working with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, MySQL and NoSQL data warehouses such as HBase.
• Highly skilled in realizing the full potential of LLM-based AI frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively on multiple concurrent assignments with both AI and non-AI application projects.
• Experience working in an Agile and Test-Driven Development environment.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Test tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Selenium, Chef desirable.
• Strategic thinker and good business acumen to orient data engineering to the business needs of internal clients.
• Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to detail, team oriented, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $97,800.00 to $152,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
