What You’ll Be Doing…
- The Procurement Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end procurement process, from initial sourcing and RFP management to contract execution and annual renewals.
- Contractual & Legal Review: Act as the first line of defense in reviewing MSAs, SOWs, and DPAs. You’ll work closely with our Legal team to identify “red flag” clauses and ensure our interests are protected.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT and Security, GRC, and Privacy to understand their technical needs and ensure that all new vendors pass our rigorous “Trusted Vendor” assessments.
- Financial Rigor: You are “well-versed in numbers.” You will manage spend analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure that our tech stack is optimized through strategic co-termination and license management.
- Vendor Diplomacy: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners while holding them accountable to SLAs and performance metrics.
- Process Architecture: Continuously refine our internal procurement workflows to make them more agile as we scale.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of dedicated procurement experience, ideally within a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
- Analytical Rigor: You love a good spreadsheet. You can look at complex pricing models and see where the hidden costs lie.
- Critical Thinking: You don’t just follow a workflow; you ask “Why?” and “Is there a better way?” You can anticipate the downstream impacts of contract terms.
- Legal Literacy: You are comfortable reading “legalese” and have a foundational understanding of contract law as it pertains to software licensing and data privacy.
- Meticulous Detail: You catch the typo in the fine print that everyone else misses. To you, organization isn’t a task—it’s a lifestyle.
- Self-Motivation: You thrive in an environment where you are given autonomy. You don’t wait for a problem to be assigned; you seek out the solution.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with procurement software (i.e. - Coupa, ServiceNow) is a significant plus.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across functional areas like Finance, Legal, and IT.

The base pay range for this position in the $ _5** 3,200 - 76,000 CAD_** / year + bonus
Benefits and working arrangements may vary depending on your seniority, location and employment type. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
