About Vivid
Vivid is a European financial platform that allows for the integrated management of personal and business finances. We were founded in Berlin in 2019 by Alexander Emeshev and Artem Iamanov. We serve SMEs, companies, freelancers, and private account holders, offering a comprehensive financial solution for these groups.
Our business accounts include online registration, high interest rates (an initial 4% annual interest rate for four months, then up to 2% p.a. depending on your plan), instant transfers, and financial tools. Accounts come with unique IBANs and support invoicing and document uploads for bookkeeping. We offer integrations with platforms like sevDesk, Lexware Office, and DATEV. Additional features include business travel cashback, Crypto Earn rewards, and treasury services for stocks, ETFs, and crypto. We also offer loans up to €200,000 with a 12-month repayment term. For payment processing, we provide POS terminals and handle in-person payment fees. Our platform includes personal and legal AI assistants and offers tax filing services for freelancers, with options for a certified tax adviser.
For personal accounts, we allow executives and team members to manage both business and private funds on one platform. These accounts offer interest on uninvested cash, cashback on card purchases, and investment options in stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. We provide free virtual and physical cards with cashback programs. We offer unlimited cashback from 0.1% to 0.5%, plus up to 6% cashback on selected brands and categories. Card spending limits for advertising and IT services are unlimited. Transfers include free SEPA Instant and incoming SWIFT. Outgoing SWIFT transfers cost €5, or you get 5-10 free per month depending on your plan.
We operate across 30 EEA countries and Switzerland and serve over 500,000 customers in Europe. We have raised over €200 million from investors, including Greenoaks Capital and DST Global. We have offices and tech hubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and Limassol. We have expanded our offerings through acquisitions, including Luxembourg fintech Joompay and German fintech Pile.
Customer funds are stored securely in assets such as deposits with the Central Bank of Luxembourg and Qualifying Money Market Funds (QMMFs) managed by entities like BlackRock. Client funds are not used for risky loans and are kept separate from our own assets, ensuring security even if amounts exceed €100,000. Our group, including Vivid Money SA and Vivid Money B.V., is regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) of Luxembourg and the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (AFM). We maintain payment security through PCI DSS compliance, use 2-step authentication, and ensure GDPR compliance by hosting our servers in the European Union.
