About the Internship
We’re building a Game Development Intern Talent Pool for Spring/Summer 2026 [May - August] and are excited to meet students and early-career creators who are passionate about games.
This is a cross-disciplinary opportunity — we’re open to students interested in:
🎮 Programming / Engineering
🎨 Art / UGC / Rendering / Visual Design
🧠 Game Design / Systems Design
📝 Product - PM, Community Management, QA
As an intern, you’ll get exposure to real production environments, live games with millions of players, and a highly collaborative, remote-first game studio. You’ll work alongside experienced developers, artists, designers, and operators contributing to features, content, tools, and experiences that ship to live audiences.
What You’ll Do (Role-Dependent)
Depending on your interests and discipline, you may:
Contribute to game features, systems, content, or live updates
Support in-game experiences, events, or mechanics
Create art assets, UGC, renders, UI, or visual content
Assist with game design, balancing, or systems thinking
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, artists, designers, producers, and analysts
Learn how live-service games operate at scale
Who This Is For
We’re excited to meet students and early-career talent who are:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in:
Computer Science, Software Engineering
Game Design / Game Development
Digital Media / Design / Art
Interactive Media / HCI
Data / Analytics
Or related fields
Passionate about games, creation, and player experiences
Curious, collaborative, and excited to learn
Comfortable working in fast-moving, creative environments
Interested in Roblox, UGC ecosystems, or live-service games (not required, but a huge plus)
Bonus (Not Required, But Awesome to See)
Personal projects, game jams, hackathons, mods, or prototypes
Roblox Studio experience
Portfolios (art, design, UGC, code, games, videos, etc.)
GitHub, itch.io, ArtStation, Behance, YouTube, TikTok, or Discord communities
Experience building or contributing to live or multiplayer projects
