We started in 1957 as a full-service design and engineering company with locations in Warren and Troy, Michigan. Our group includes Waltonen Engineering, Independence Tooling Solutions, and Geometric Solutions. We serve OEMs, major tier one manufacturers, and suppliers in industries such as automotive, defense, aerospace, transportation, medical, and consumer products. We are ISO 9001-2015 certified.

We offer services in three main areas:

• Design and Engineering: This includes concept engineering, product development, life cycle management, modeling and simulation, digital manufacturing, systems integration, mechanical design, electrical design, and program management. We use model-based systems engineering (MBSE), digital twin technology, and a single source of truth approach to manage the entire product lifecycle.
• Manufacturing Systems: We provide facility and equipment planning, assembly and transfer systems engineering, and handle large, complex engineering and design programs. Our manufacturing resources include high-precision machining, 3 and 5 axis CNC machining, CMM, laser tracking, fabrication, assembly, rapid prototypes, and short-run production.
• Quality Engineering: This includes dimensional engineering, human ergonomics, CMM inspection, scanning, GD&T, tolerance, reverse engineering, and fixture design and build. We ensure products meet specifications and contractual requirements, review certifications, and act as a liaison for customer quality representatives.

We have supported the government sector for over 25 years as a Small Business Prime Contractor for agencies including Defense, Homeland Security, and Energy, providing digital product lifecycle solutions. We are 100% U.S.-owned and have 51-200 employees.
