The Business Systems team defines and builds the business IT architecture that supports the commercial operation of Waymo’s autonomous fleet. The team stands at the intersection of finance, operations and IT; through creative architecture, expertise and attention to detail, it ensures that Waymo has world-class capabilities across all its business processes.

In this hybrid role, you will report to a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & GTM Systems

You will:

  • Lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between cloud and on-premise applications using Cloud-based Middleware solutions such as Boomi, SAP CM and technologies such as Apache Beam/Spark and data integration platforms such as Datafusion etc.
  • Own and drive multiple systems development projects, collaborating effectively across multiple teams in Waymo and Alphabet IT, Product and Engineering functions in addition to third party technology providers and partners.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deeply understand their needs, translating complex requirements into elegant and effective technical solutions.
  • Establish and maintain highest levels of development practices including: technical design, solution development, systems configuration, error handling, logging,audit management, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and self-sustaining code, setting a high bar for quality and reusability within the team.
  • Architect and build solutions that deliver tangible business value by automating end-to-end processes and promoting the use of common, reusable services.

You have:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Dell Boomi Certified (Professional Developer and Architect)
  • Experience with writing data pipelines using Google internal technologies and and data extraction using ETL tools such as Data fusion, Python/Airflow etc
  • Experience with Google infrastructure and technology systems such as  Google cloud platform - Cloud storage, Big Query, Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Proven experience building integrations with major enterprise systems such as SAP, Ariba, Workday, and Salesforce

We prefer:

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.

Salary Range

$196,000—$248,000 USD
