The Team

We are a group of vibrant, diverse people who love travelling and never settle on quality. Each one of us didn’t join Welcome by chance and believes deeply in what Welcome is trying to achieve, so we work relentlessly to make that happen. We challenge common logic, focus on design, put simplicity and usability first, and create memorable experiences. We keep learning and exploring better ways to serve our community and grow personally and professionally in our respective fields. We stay humble along the way, with a “pay it forward” mentality, but with big and bold goals.

As a Marketing Manager for Driver Supply Acquisition, you will own the engine that brings in the people who turn Welcome Pickups into an unforgettable experience for travellers. Your mission will be to build and operate a funnel that delivers qualified, relevant, and localized driver leads while keeping noise away from recruitment and ensuring the right drivers are matched to the right destinations, routes, and vehicle segments. You will run this engine across multiple channels, mostly digital-first and heavily digital in execution.

The funnel is powered by paid media, search, job boards, referral mechanisms, localization signals, and automated qualification flows, primarily across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and scalable digital surfaces per destination.

This is a role with big responsibility and lots of ownership, where you’ll design systems that scale across cities and countries, automate decisions before humans have to, and make sure we grow supply without ever losing the human part that makes us different.

Responsibilities

Digital driver acquisition

  • Build, run, and optimise driver acquisition campaigns across: Meta, Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Job boards, Referrals, Partners, and more.
  • Turn supply gaps and forecasting signals into actionable campaign bursts per destination.
  • Design winning audience strategies using lookalikes, intent signals, and market demand for driver types.
  • Ensure predictable lead volume and strong segment coverage across all markets.

Automated qualification & smart routing

  • Own the qualification logic that validates drivers before recruitment.
  • Build automated filters, scoring, and routing so only the right leads reach our driver recruitment team.
  • Guarantee clean and prioritized lead handoff with well-tagged metadata and readiness flags.

Targeting & localized segmentation

  • Localise campaigns.
  • Prioritize markets based on feedback.
  • Continuously test messaging, audiences, creatives, and landing flows to lift qualified-lead percentage.

Team leadership and campaign operations

  • Manage, mentor, and enable a Campaigns Specialist who will support execution, audience set up, and asset testing.
  • Own campaign frameworks, routing logic, CPL targets, and quality thresholds.
  • Ensure execution flows fast without letting unqualified leads reach recruitment.
  • Keep alignment tight with recruitment, operations, and analytics on supply gaps and campaign bursts.

Performance tracking & insights

  • Track and optimise: CPL, qualification rate, conversion rate, funnel speed, and more.
  • Build dashboards and recurring reports that show funnel coverage, lead quality, cost efficiency, and performance trends.
  • Monitor and detect supply needs early with input from analysts and local operations.

Teamwork & alignment

  • Work closely with Recruitment to sync on lead scoring, qualification criteria, and handoff SLAs.

  • Collaborate with our operations team to fuel accelerated sourcing bursts when needed.

  • Partner with marketing to design on brand messaging and pipeline strategy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Any other language skills will be considered a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in paid acquisition, ideally within driver, supply, or recruitment funnels. At least 3+ years of people management.

  • Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Lookalike + intent audiences.

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and comfort with automation tools (or similar tech / CRM systems).

  • Strong campaign tester and optimizer mindset.

  • Comfortable owning supply KPIs that impact cities and regions.

  • Leader-mindset who can guide a Campaigns Specialist without slowing execution.

  • Not afraid of responsibility, forecasting, and optimization loops.

  • Loves improving funnel relevance and protecting lead quality.

  • Enjoys testing fast, learning fast, and shipping fast.

  • Clear communicator with a collaborative and human approach to ownership.

  • Vibrant and fresh work environment

  • Flexible work-from-home policy

  • The tools you need to perform your daily tasks successfully

  • L&D personal budget

  • +4 extra PTO days annually

  • The unique opportunity to join “the next big thing” at ground level
