Function is building the premier infrastructure layer for making Bitcoin a productive asset across DeFi. Our core product, FBTC, is a secure, omnichain wrapper for Bitcoin that enables yield generation, lending, and DeFi composability without counterparty risk. The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support our institutional partnerships and business operations. This role will work closely with our BD and Strategy teams to ensure smooth execution of partnerships, maintain operational excellence, and serve as a bridge between our English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
This is a high-growth role for someone who is analytically minded, operationally rigorous, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for tracking key metrics across our internal business and our investment strategist partners, supporting partnership operations, and ensuring seamless communication across the team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Operations & Support
Support the institutional BD and Operations teams in partnership execution, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management
Coordinate with partners across exchanges, custodians, wallets, and institutional clients to ensure smooth integration processes
Track partnership milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics
Maintain partnership documentation, contracts, and communication records in both English and Mandarin
2. Investment Operations & Analysis
Monitor and track vault manager partner performance including TVL flows, position allocations, strategy returns, collateral ratios, and liquidation risks across user capital
Build and maintain real-time dashboards tracking vault metrics, yield performance, on-chain/centralized exchange positions, and comparative performance across manager partners
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on vault TVL trends, realized returns, partner performance rankings, capital efficiency metrics, and strategy-level analysis
Support due diligence for new vault managers and develop financial models evaluating vault economics, fee structures, and revenue projections from partnerships
3. Process & Documentation Management
Develop and maintain operational playbooks, partner onboarding guides, and internal documentation
Standardize processes for partnership execution, compliance, and reporting
Create templates for partnership agreements, commercial terms, and integration documentation
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams to support partnership needs
Coordinate internal communication between teams to ensure alignment on partnership deliverables
Support the BD and operations teams with presentation materials, proposals, and partner communications
Assist with administrative tasks related to partnerships including scheduling, follow-ups, and action item tracking
Who You Are
Required:
Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
1-3 years of experience in operations, analytics, business operations, or related roles
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Interest in cryptocurrency, DeFi, and financial markets
Preferred:
Experience in crypto/blockchain industry
Basic understanding of DeFi concepts, Bitcoin products, or trading operations
Experience working with Asian markets or cross-border partnerships
Background in finance, economics, or quantitative fields
Bonus Points

You have experience supporting institutional partnerships or BD operations
