We offer drone delivery services using lightweight, highly automated drones. They transport small packages from businesses to homes in minutes. Our delivery method focuses on safety, sustainability, and integrating with existing logistics. We specialize in drones, on-demand delivery, last-mile logistics, uncrewed aircraft systems, and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM). We operate in the Technology, Information, and Internet industries.

We started in Google’s labs in 2012 and became an independent Alphabet business in 2018. Since then, we’ve completed over 450,000 residential deliveries. In 2019, we launched public drone delivery services in Australia and received the first FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate for drone operations, allowing us to launch commercial drone delivery in the US that same year. By 2022, we expanded into our first major US metropolitan area, Dallas-Fort Worth, and scaled our operations in Logan, Australia, to over 1,000 daily deliveries. In 2024 and 2025, we strengthened partnerships with Walmart and DoorDash. We delivered lab samples in central London with Apian and the NHS. We also improved our detect-and-avoid system for airspace integration and launched a large drone delivery expansion with Walmart across six major US cities.

Our mission is to create a delivery option that provides fast, convenient service. We aim to reduce road traffic and minimize environmental impact, making delivery better for the planet. We want to make delivery more convenient, sustainable, and accessible.

Safety is a top priority. For instance, we use a multi-layered detect-and-avoid system to safely integrate our aircraft into complex airspace.
