Our work focuses on social and environmental issues in U.S. and international development. Our areas of expertise include Agriculture and Sustainability, Clean Energy, Climate Change, Forests and Natural Resource Management, Gender and Social Inclusion, Water, Youth and Education, and Entrepreneurship.

We offer “Impact-Ready Solutions” for development challenges such as clean energy, water security, human rights, climate resilience, and nature-based solutions. The American Carbon Registry (ACR), a nonprofit enterprise we founded in 1996, is a carbon crediting program for compliance and voluntary carbon markets.

We operate in over 46 countries and many U.S. states. Our U.S. offices are in Arlington, Virginia, and Little Rock, Arkansas. We also have regional offices in Nairobi, Kenya, and Manila, Philippines. Winrock International was founded in 1985.
