Job Description

Our Customer team are focused on exactly that – our Customers! In this role you will lead the creation of value in the Commercial Fuels and lubricants businesses by building partnerships within Z and externally to ensure our customer value propositions, revenue and safety performance aspirations are met.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Support fuels and lubricants Account Managers, Lubricants Manager and Head of Commercial to drive the performance of revenue and margin targets
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly monitoring of Commercial business performance, identifying and solving for performance gaps
  • Lead on initiatives to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes for our people, customers, and suppliers
  • Manage the business critical supplier of Adblue across the truck stop network.
  • Collaborate across Z teams to deliver on our aspirations for asset performance and customer experience throughout the nationwide network of Truck Stops.
  • Evolve our Truck Stop network by considering investment choices that deliver on strategic objectives and in year business plans
  • Partner with teams to create business opportunities across Z’s B2B customer portfolios

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to Z

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to use successful thinking strategies to solve problems and make decisions
  • A solid understanding of how businesses work; and awareness of strategies and tactics for execution in a business context
  • Experience working with teams, analysing performance and realising value
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to identify, analyse plans and implement actions to engage with a range of relevant stakeholders
  • A solid understanding of the markets we operate in, insight as to how value is generated and the curiosity to seek out answers
  • Expertise in building relationships with internal and external contacts, forming partnerships that support business success and using cross-functional knowledge to add value

The base salary range for this role is $152,600 to $179,500 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
