Job Description
Unifying our customer experience across physical and digital channels, our Digital team build and deliver products where technology meets our customers – web, app, and retail.
Z is on a journey to gain a deep understanding of customer behaviour and motivations and to deliver a world class customer experience. To achieve this we need to capture, manage and govern customer data at an enterprise level.
As a Mātanga Mātāmua - Kawenga Salesforce Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant within the Marketing Technology team, you will lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of our Salesforce ecosystem, spanning design, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support. Your primary focus will be on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud (Data 360), with Marketing Cloud expertise considered highly desirable.
This role is pivotal in driving our Customer 360 vision, integrating data across platforms to enable personalised, data-driven activation for Marketing, Loyalty, and CRM initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Data, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure Salesforce solutions align with business priorities and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Looking ahead, you will contribute to shaping our roadmap for agentic AI capabilities across Service, Sales, and Marketing, positioning the organisation at the forefront of intelligent automation and customer engagement.
You will have the opportunity to
- Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and support of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Drive the Customer 360 vision by integrating data to enable personalised, data-driven Marketing, Loyalty, and CRM activation.
- Partner with Data, Analytics, and Marketing teams to align Salesforce capabilities with strategic business priorities.
- Act as a senior functional advisor, translating business needs into scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions.
- Shape the future Salesforce roadmap, including the adoption of agentic AI across Sales, Service, and Marketing.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to Z
- Deep experience in Salesforce administration and configuration experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with exposure to Data Cloud (Data 360) and Marketing Cloud
- Strong declarative skills across the entire Salesforce ecosystem
- Good experience in understanding and designing the Salesforce data model using the Lightning platform
- Great understanding of the out-of-the box functionality of Salesforce
- Ability to coach and training users of Salesforce.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to communicate to developers about the requirements and solution
- Experience working in Agile
- Exposure to Apex or Visualforce coding in Salesforce is desirable
- Experience in Marketing Cloud implementation and support is highly desirable

The base salary range for this role is $125K to $140K per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
