This position is fully remote and may be performed from one of the following U.S. states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MS, NC, NV, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX.

Overview

As a key member of the Raintree growth organization, the Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing expansion opportunities within our existing client base. This quota-carrying role is focused on driving annualized revenue through consultative selling of proprietary and third-party solutions across our suite of EHR/PM software, SaaS offerings, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, and 3rd party partner products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover needs, propose value-driven solutions, and ensure long-term client growth and success within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Ownership

Own and manage a defined book of business across mid-sized to large outpatient therapy practices, with full accountability for quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Retention, Growth & Expansion Sales
  • Drive client retention and revenue growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and add-on opportunities within your portfolio. Serve as a strategic advisor, aligning client goals with Raintree’s solutions to maximize value and outcomes. Lead  contract negotiations and manage renewals to ensure long-term client success and satisfaction.
  • Pipeline Development

Proactively generate and qualify leads through both outbound efforts and inbound channels. Build a robust pipeline to support long-term revenue growth.

  • Sales Execution

Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through close, including presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and driving urgency to meet implementation timelines.

  • Forecasting & Reporting

Maintain accurate sales data in CRM (Salesforce) and deliver timely, insightful forecasts to leadership. Provide ongoing updates around pipeline health, win/loss trends, and competitive intelligence.

  • Product & Market Expertise

Stay current on Raintree’s evolving product suite and industry trends to provide informed consultation. Deliver demos and solution overviews tailored to client needs.

  • Client Relationship Management

Partner closely with Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to support client retention and satisfaction. Collaboratively develop and maintain key strategic account plans.

  • Collaboration & Feedback Loop

Serve as a voice of the customer internally, delivering feedback to marketing, product, and leadership teams to shape strategy and improve offerings.

  • Travel

Up to 40% travel to client sites, industry events, and team meetings as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of successful healthcare sales/account management experience, preferably in the healthcare technology, electronic health-record software or RCM space
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a SaaS, EMR, or healthcare solutions environment
  • Strong knowledge of EHR, practice management systems, clinical workflows, or revenue cycle operations
  • PT’s, Raintree EMR or Physical Therapy market experience strongly preferred
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred); skilled in Google Workspace and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and consultative sales approach
