GoGlobal is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant Manager to join our growing team. The Finance Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with financial planning, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong leadership skills who can work collaboratively across departments to drive financial efficiency and accuracy.

Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance and report findings to senior management.

Accounting & Record Keeping:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with established policies and accounting principles.

  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Assist in the development and refinement of financial policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and process improvements.

  • Assist in resource planning and workflow management to ensure efficiency and productivity within the finance department.

Special Projects:

  • Participate in special financial projects, including system implementations, process automation, and strategic planning initiatives.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research as required by management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CMA is preferred).

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.

  • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and internal control implementation.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience working in a BPO or consulting environment is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
