GoGlobal is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant Manager to join our growing team. The Finance Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with financial planning, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong leadership skills who can work collaboratively across departments to drive financial efficiency and accuracy.
Roles & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance and report findings to senior management.
Accounting & Record Keeping:
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with established policies and accounting principles.
Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Assist in the development and refinement of financial policies and procedures.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and process improvements.
Assist in resource planning and workflow management to ensure efficiency and productivity within the finance department.
Special Projects:
Participate in special financial projects, including system implementations, process automation, and strategic planning initiatives.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research as required by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CMA is preferred).
5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and internal control implementation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working in a BPO or consulting environment is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
