Guild is hiring a Brand Designer to activate and evolve Guild’s visual presence internally and externally, collaborating across our efforts to establish an iconic, purposeful brand through the implementation of outstanding creative work.

As a Brand Designer, you will:

  • Work alongside a team of designers and collaborate across all creative outputs in service of Guild’s brand while contributing to a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Participate in and prepare for design and animation walkthroughs, critiques, and reviews.
  • Leverage design thinking activities cross-functionally to absorb knowledge and needed information from stakeholders and build overall business acumen.
  • Produce and execute high-quality and production-ready deliverables for print, digital, and animation including brand assets, campaign work, social media, events, ebooks, and emails.
  • Support and uphold team processes and systems and contribute to improving workflows.
  • Collaborate on the direction and evolution of Guild’s brand and visual identity, upholding and helping to expand and scale design systems and processes.
  • Operate with some direction and guidance, ensuring all work adheres to brand guidelines and meets quality standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and time management to successfully meet deadlines and produce work aligned to expectations.
  • Leverage critical thinking and creative problem solving to drive impactful visual solutions.
  • Advocate for creative choices and effectively communicate rationale and process.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

Required Competencies

  • 3-5+ years of experience in high-functioning creative teams, ideally both in-house and agency-side, working on / managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects; advanced in Figma.
  • Skilled in creating motion graphics and animations for web, social, and video.
  • Understands how to bring marketing campaigns to life through interactive or animated content.
  • Familiar with designing for web experiences, including responsible layouts and lightweight animation best practices.
  • Ability to design for digital marketing channels (email, web, social, ads, etc.) as well as print (direct mailers, etc.); comfortable creating polished, on-brand assets that drive engagement.
  • Ability to turn briefs or goals into thoughtful, effective design solutions; willing to explore different directions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Comfortable managing projects from concept to final delivery.

Preferred Competencies

  • Late-stage startup experience preferred.

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $75,800-$106,100, and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
