We are seeking candidates located in Singapore or Malaysia or Philippines area to join our APAC regional office as individual sales contributor.

As a Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition/new business, developing long term relationships and understanding the critical business strategies of our customers across Asia Pacific and work with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute solutions to help the customer achieve their business objectives.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

A seasoned professional, the Business Development Director, APAC (BDD) will be someone with a very high drive towards sales conversion who has worked with large enterprise decision-makers and can influence and inspire clients and associates.

Highly skilled at revenue generation, pre-sales and business insight, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve BIW’s growth plan – Create revenue streams from our services and products portfolio that will truly make a difference.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for self-generating leads, building strong relationships with local Philippine brands, managing complex sales cycles, and leading RFP/tender processes in collaboration with internal subject matter experts (SMEs). The BDM will operate within a highly consultative sales environment, requiring strong solution-selling abilities and cross-functional teamwork

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate annual revenue by signing multiple large deals with new brands across the Asia region.

• Plan and execute robust business growth strategies to achieve multi-million revenue targets.

• Lead business development activities and develop new opportunities with existing and new clients.

• Engage and manage clients at appropriate levels, including C-suite executives across different functions.

• Nurture relationships with existing clients to retain and expand accounts.

• Support the Managing Director, APAC with strategic alliances and partnerships.

• Generate self-sourced leads by identifying target organizations and key decision-makers in the Philippines and APAC markets.

• Build Points of View (POV) to personalize outreach and secure meetings.

• Conduct extensive smart research on target organizations and individuals.

• Manage long, consultative sales cycles (12–24 months)

• Act as the main coordinator and leader during RFP and tender processes.

• Work closely with SMEs daily (Finance, Pricing, Technology, Client Servicing, Automotive, Channel Partner Engagement).

• Track sales activities manually (Microsoft Teams, Outlook) alongside global Salesforce reporting.

• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to secure opportunities.

• Collaborate within a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork.

• Participate in weekly sales meetings, biweekly check-ins, quarterly reviews with Omar and Kevin, and an annual performance review.

• 5 + years of B2B sales experience, ideally targeting mid-sized to large companies (not limited to Fortune 1000).

• Proven ability to manage complex, high-value sales cycles (12–24 months).

• Strong network within the Philippines; broader APAC connections (Singapore, Malaysia) a plus.

• Background in HR or Tech Consulting highly preferred.

• Strong consultative sales approach — not short-cycle, transactional selling.

• Experience leading RFP and tender processes.

• Ability to build a pipeline from scratch and quickly form internal and external networks.

• Comfortable with extensive research, prospecting, and structured daily activities.

• Familiar with long-term deal structures, subscription fees, services, and solutions sales.

• Career stability preferred (no pattern of frequent job changes every 2 years).
