Role Overview
We’re looking for a Client Success Manager (CSM) who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to manage cases from onboarding to resolution, anticipate needs before they arise, and help us continue to improve our processes and client experience. You’ll liaise with clients, gather and organize documentation, coordinate with accountants, engineers, and other stakeholders, and spot opportunities for operational improvements.
This is not a “sit back and wait” role, we need someone proactive, curious, and willing to get their hands dirty. You’ll help us refine our SOPs, contribute to product feedback, and embrace our evolving tech tools as we automate more of our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Case Management: Own assigned client cases from onboarding to completion, starting with simpler workflows and scaling up in complexity.
- Client Communication: Provide empathetic, clear, and timely updates, tailored to each client’s situation and tone.
- Documentation & Filing: Collect, review, and track all necessary forms and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with internal teams, accountants, and other partners to keep cases moving forward.
- Pattern Recognition: Identify recurring client situations and proactively address potential roadblocks based on past cases.
- Operational Improvements: Suggest and help implement process improvements that reduce turnaround time and increase accuracy.
- Product Feedback: Work with our engineering team to test new features, flag issues, and suggest enhancements to our proprietary platform.
Must-Have:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with a willingness to figure things out independently before escalating.
- Comfortable working with evolving tech tools and processes.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in paralegal, legal assistant, tax, or compliance-related roles.
- Startup or fast-paced operational experience.
- Familiarity with filing processes, regulatory workflows, or corporate compliance.
- Interest in automation, AI tools, and product feedback loops.
