We founded Modern Health in 2017 to provide a global mental health solution. Our platform gives employees access to one-on-one coaching and therapy, group sessions (Circles), and self-serve digital resources. We help individuals address their emotional, professional, social, financial, and physical well-being. Our care model guides them to appropriate support, from proactive stress management to clinical treatment.

Our network of providers covers over 200 countries and territories, 80 languages, and various specialties, ensuring culturally responsive care worldwide. We work with employers globally who have more than 100 employees, offering flexible PEPM or usage-based pricing models.

We have raised over $170 million, reaching a $1.17 billion valuation, and are the fastest entirely female-founded U.S. company to achieve “Unicorn” status. An independent analysis showed a $2.39 return on investment for every $1 spent, mainly due to reduced healthcare costs. This analysis also noted that 60% of savings came from supporting employees with moderate mental health needs, and 64% of our members use coaching services.

Modern Health has a fully remote, distributed workforce of 201-500 employees. We prioritize remote-first collaboration, with overlapping hours across time zones to keep teams connected.
