Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic CRM Manager with a specialized emphasis on Sales Enablement and Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance sales processes, drive revenue growth, and streamline sales operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning the CRM system with sales operations objectives and ensuring seamless collaboration between sales and other functional teams. Partner with leadership across various departments; Field Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, IT, and other areas to manage and maintain the CRM system.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance the existing CRM system to align with sales objectives.
- Implement best practices for data management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Customize CRM functionalities to meet the specific needs of the sales team.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to understand and streamline sales processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiency.
- Develop workflows and automation within the CRM system to optimize the sales funnel.
- Devise and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy using CRM tools.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on CRM usage, best practices, and new features.
- Ensure that the CRM system aligns with sales objectives, providing actionable insights and analytics.
- Oversee sales operations to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes.
- Implement and manage sales performance metrics and reporting.
- Create and maintain customized reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement using analytics tools such as Tableau and SFDC CRM Analytics.
- Provide regular reports to leadership with insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and 3rd party vendors, to integrate CRM with other business systems.
- Collaborate with IT and 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and ensure system stability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CRM-related queries and issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing users.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BS/BA degree and 5 years relevant sales / CRM systems administration, sales analytics and operations experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. At least 2 years’ experience working on SFDC/Salesforce.com, Pharma CRM such as OCE and Veeva
- SFDC CRM Admin Certification Preferred
- Extensive knowledge of SFDC/Salesforce.com and related systems
- Proven experience working within a commercial/sales environment in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech company
- Experience leading projects effectively with multiple departments/stakeholders in a pharmaceutical company such as, but not limited to, multiple field teams, marketing, marketing operations, field operations, IT, commercial operations, and compliance/legal
- Strong familiarity with database architecture and back end of commercial systems
- Experience managing vendors of biopharma commercial systems and sales force analytics capabilities such as SFDC CRM Analytics and Tableau
- Advanced computer skills (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Requires a high level of computer proficiency, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities
- Influence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and stakeholders across level
