Job Position: Digital Marketing Lead

Work Arrangement: Remote (PH or LATAM based preferred)

Job Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week-9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST business hours

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Digital Marketing Lead for Pearl—which places top 1% talent from around the world into operational roles at startups. Your role will be to come up with viral content that increases our brand presence for both clients and talents.

Your Impact

Your work will translate to talents across the world thinking of Pearl as the top overseas employer—we want our brand to be: “If you’re a 1% player and want to work with the most exciting startups, instead of being behind a desk at a large BPO, come work with us.” You’ll also be a key player in helping clients develop a frame that we’re able to find far higher quality talent from across the world than competitors.

Purpose of Your Role

We’re looking for a strategic storyteller and hands-on content producer who’s excited to build something from the ground up. You should be fluent in crafting content that’s not just beautiful or well-written — but impactful. Your goal is to drive awareness, engagement, and inbound interest through content that speaks directly to startup founders, hiring managers, and world-class talent.

Key Metrics You Own

  • 60 Content Pieces per month
  • 5-8% of Channel Engagement Rate weekly
  • +40% QoQ of Channel Follower Growth Rate per month
  • >10% per send of Newsletter CTR
  • Quarterly Content → Booked Calls that track uplift over time

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Define and own the content calendar across channels (LinkedIn, Meta, X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  • Research and implement best-performing content formats based on audience behavior and marketing goals

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write, edit, and produce compelling content: thought leadership, newsletters, blogs, video scripts, social posts, etc.
  • Turn interviews with founders, clients, and team members into strong narratives
  • Optimize all content for engagement, SEO, and brand voice

Social Media & Community Growth

  • Build and grow Pearl Talent’s and the founders’ presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Develop a clear brand personality and tone that stands out in the recruiting and startup space

Performance Analysis & Iteration

  • Monitor content performance and iterate based on engagement, conversions, and feedback
  • Run A/B tests and data-driven experiments to improve key content KPIs

Collaboration & Team Management

  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to align messaging across the funnel
  • Manage a team of marketing interns to execute on marketing projects / hit KPIs & goals
  • Stay informed on startup trends, hiring challenges, and relevant news to keep content fresh and valuable

Must-Haves

  • 3–5 years of experience in content creation, journalism, or digital marketing
  • Strong writing portfolio that includes B2B or startup-focused content
  • Adept in graphic design and video editing softwares, and management platforms (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut, Canva, Meta Business Suite + Ads Manager, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of how to engage professional audiences on LinkedIn
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects and hit deadlines
  • Native or fluent English writing skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with early-stage or VC-backed startups

  • Familiarity with recruiting, HR tech, or talent acquisition trends

  • Video editing or scriptwriting experience

  • Proficiency with Notion, Webflow, Figma, or AI writing tools

  • Knowledgeable on Buffer, Later, or other content creation tools

  • Past experience building and scaling a content engine from scratch

  • Potential for profit share based on performance
