Opportunity for Impact: We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Director of Psychiatry to lead and support the delivery of psychiatric care across Mantra Health’s clinical offerings. This leadership role is central to maintaining high clinical standards, shaping care delivery models, and guiding our psychiatric team. The ideal candidate is a board-certified psychiatrist licensed in, or eligible for expedited licensure through an IMLC member state.

The salary range for this part-time Director of Psychiatry role is $125,000 to $150,000 + Equity, with the potential for the position to transition into a full-time role over time.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency, layering additional Mantra services and products over time.

- Work closely with clinical managers, including workflow and care practice optimization and design.
- Support and mentor psychiatrists and Psych NPs, fostering a collaborative and accountable clinical team environment, while also recruiting and attracting top-tier NPs and MDs to strengthen the team and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Serve as the supervisory psychiatrist for Mantra’s collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align evidence-based clinical practices with organizational goals.
- Serve as a thought leader and key representative of the organization in external affairs, driving strategic engagement with current and prospective clients, partners, and external stakeholders to promote the organization’s psychiatric services and expertise.
Who You Are:
- Board-certified psychiatrist located in an IMLC member state and a willingness to get additional licenses funded by the company. Ideal candidate will hold licenses in multiple states.
- 3-5 years post-residency experience, ideally including supervisory roles in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote clinical teams, holding team members accountable to high standards of care.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality control in mental healthcare.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance immediate clinical priorities with long-term service development goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams and with external partners.
