E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant to manage our WIX-based online store and support various marketing activities. The ideal candidate has experience with e-commerce operations, online marketing tools, and social media content creation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- E-Commerce Website Management (Primary)
- Manage and update the WIX e-commerce website
- Upload and manage product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing
- Conduct product research to support content and marketing strategies
- Handle purchase orders (POs) and perform inventory control using Excel spreadsheets
- Execute marketing campaigns directly through WIX
- Digital Marketing Support
- Create and send email campaigns via Mailchimp
- Assist in social media marketing—create and schedule engaging posts for Instagram and Facebook
- Support general online marketing efforts to drive traffic and increase conversions
- Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to improve website ranking
- Experience with setting up and managing Google Business profiles
Qualifications
- Experience:
Previous experience managing an e-commerce platform (WIX preferred)
Familiarity with product uploads, order processing, and inventory management
Basic experience with email marketing and social media management
- Technical Skills & Tools:
Proficiency in WIX for website management
Strong skills in Excel and managing Excel spreadsheets
Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) for marketing
- Soft Skills:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently
Good written communication and creativity in marketing content
