Job description

Our client is an Australian-based professional services company focused on mental health. They are a team of experienced psychologists and mental health professionals dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based support to individuals, families, and communities.

They are looking for a Virtual Assistant with Finance experience to support their bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial management tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

  • Process invoices and reconcile financial transactions using Xero.

  • Prepare and submit BAS and other compliance-related documents.

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee payments.

  • Generate financial reports for management review.

  • Maintained accurate financial records and data entry.

  • Support financial administrative tasks as required.

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting support roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software).

  • Experience with payroll processing and compliance reporting (BAS, etc.).

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Familiarity with Halaxy or other financial platforms is a plus.
