Our client is an Australian-based professional services company focused on mental health. They are a team of experienced psychologists and mental health professionals dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based support to individuals, families, and communities.
They are looking for a Virtual Assistant with Finance experience to support their bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial management tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Process invoices and reconcile financial transactions using Xero.
Prepare and submit BAS and other compliance-related documents.
Assist with payroll processing and employee payments.
Generate financial reports for management review.
Maintained accurate financial records and data entry.
Support financial administrative tasks as required.
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting support roles.
Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software).
Experience with payroll processing and compliance reporting (BAS, etc.).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Familiarity with Halaxy or other financial platforms is a plus.
