Our client is a business advisory team that helps business owners build profitable, sustainable businesses, from start-up to growth and eventual sale.
They are now seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing financial team.
Job Responsibilities:
Bank Reconciliations.
Data entry such as manual journal processing.
Accounts payable i.e bill publishing through DEXT/Hubdoc.
Accounts receivable.
Payroll & superannuation processing through Xero/Tanda.
Monitoring and triaging multiple email inboxes.
Assistance with the preparation of management reporting.
Assistance with the preparation of BAS / IAS.
Reporting to Head of Bookkeeping.
Active and passionate team player who contributes to the work culture and is always looking for new and improved ways to do things.
Comfortable and satisfied in a Data entry and Bookkeeping role (their responsibilities may extend beyond this)
Experience using various programs such as Xero, Approval Max, Tanda, and DEXT and the ability to intuitively navigate through new apps
Ability to pick up an existing file and quickly work out the accounting setup e.g. accruals vs cash, batch payments, etc
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills to support and liaise with multiple departments
This will be the sole and primary role of the candidate i.e. they will not service other clients outside of the business
