Job Description
Reporting to the Platform Product Manager, the Platform Product Owner will support Clearing House platform technology and performance to ensure delivery of content to existing solutions, new products, and product enhancements that are aligned to the products supported by the clearing house our go-to-market strategies. The Platform Product Owner will work with our Product and Engineering teams, from a technical perspective and contribute to business process improvement projects, partnerships, and product marketing success.
Identifying opportunities to scale, enhance and leverage Experian Health’s vast resources, working effectively with Product and Engineering counterparts, will determine the critical success factors of this role.
You will:
- Contribute to the success of the Platform Team and affiliated Engineering and Product members of the team, both internally externally.
- Use market intelligence, regulatory shifts, internal team feedback, and partner feedback to support backlog groom and sequencing of product enhancement prioritization.
- Be an expert in the Agile framework and create efficiencies through analysis and execution.
- Write product requirements, communicate priorities for sprint and release plans, manage backlog refinement and retrospectives.
- Manage to product and deployment methodology
- Work with Development to prioritize sprints and Product Management for prioritization input
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
- 5+ years’ clearinghouse, healthcare information system, or related healthcare transaction experience.
- In-depth experience in the healthcare industry and clearinghouses within revenue cycle.
- Specialties in Product Management, Healthcare, Agile and Delivery of SaaS applications
- Knowledge of the ANSI X12/EDI transaction sets and non-confirming content, their relationships and use cases, and how they tie to products is critical to the success of this role
- Respond and react, lead, and mentor teams during changes of work prioritization and change that ensures teams continue to be successful on supporting product deliveries for the enterprise.
- Understand technical, compliance, competition, and market concepts to make decisions on tradeoffs required to deliver value to Experian clients
- Experience driving new concepts around build, buy, partner models, and develop innovative new products and services.
- Data-driven product professional that has shipped product in a matrix environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
