About the Role

As an Insurance Risk Specialist with German you will play a crucial role in assisting the underwriting process by managing risk entries, processing quotes, and maintaining documentation. You will work closely with underwriters and team leaders to ensure compliance with set guidelines and turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process quotes, submissions, and policy amendments for new and renewal business.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to support underwriting decisions.

  • Ensure documents are properly filed and organized in compliance with company standards.

  • Perform cross-audits within the team to maintain a high accuracy rate.

  • Develop a strong understanding of multiple underwriting processes across various lines of business.

  • Communicate effectively with underwriters, underwriting assistants, and client-side team leaders.

  • Understand the full end-to-end process and execute tasks accordingly.

Qualifications

This would be the right role for you if you:

  • Have excellent command of German and English (B2).

  • Are detail-oriented and confident in working with numbers.

  • Have good Excel skills and are comfortable with data collection, input, and analysis.

  • Have a background in the financial or insurance industry – this would be an advantage!

  • Have experience working with MS Office and are competent in using technology, email communications, and internet research.

  • Are eager to learn more about insurance, rating, and risk assessment to support underwriters in reviewing and analyzing risks.

  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Have a university degree in Business Studies, Economics, Statistics, or another relevant field.

  • Enjoy working in a multinational environment and being a great team player.

  • Enjoy working from the comfort of your home but are open to visit the office for on-site training when needed.
