THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a candidate with several years’ experience managing FI client relationships at an operational level. A background in B2B client support/Customer Success would be beneficial. Experience in the fintech and/or SaaS space is preferred. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a hands-on approach and strong communication skills. Being well organised and a systemic thinker is essential.
THE ROLE
Entersekt’s Key Account Manager will manage Entersekt’s relationships with a portfolio of existing financial services clients, primarily focusing on Essential (smaller) Accounts. However, the role may also involve overseeing one or two more strategic accounts as needed. Your primary focus is ensuring the clients’ operational needs are met across a diverse portfolio spanning both MEA and European markets. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across different cultures. Your primary focus is ensuring the clients’ operational needs are being met. This entails monitoring support activity, managing any client escalations, ensuring reports are distributed timeously, arranging any meetings requested by the client, managing standard contractual renewals, following up with clients on aged invoices, identifying clients with potential cross sell or growth opportunities and enusring proper adoption of Entersekt solutions. , etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a large portfolio of smaller clients, taking responsibility for the relationship in its entirety.
- Oversee key account management best practices, coordinate activities, and measure progress.
- Work with clients to understand their procurement processes and project timelines.
- Monitor and manage standard renewals, apply annual increases, track the invoicing cycle, follow up on aged accounts etc.
- Provide accurate reporting and forecasting for each of the portfolio of clients via Salesforce.
- Assist with client surveys, NPS programmes and other client satisfaction tools to measure how well the clients’ needs are being met.
- Take ownership of identifying and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the portfolio, actively engaging with client stakeholders to position relevant Entersekt solutions.
- Identify and work with cross functional stakeholders to identify and implement tools and processes that will help us scale (automated client reporting and tracking, client success tools, BI reports, etc).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant tertiary education, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with FI and banking clients and solving for their needs with a SaaS technology product offering. Either:
- 5+ years client support experience in banking or other financial services or in the fintech space
- 1-2 years’ experience directly managing client accounts
- Solid understanding of Entersekt’s operating model, commercial framework and product offering.
- Experience in managing commercial processes, including putting together commercial offers and leading negotiations with clients.
- Experience handling the legal stream, including advising the internal legal team and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Outstanding Salesforce skills including the creation of reports
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
