The Role

Medely is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic People Coordinator to join our People team. This is a unique opportunity to expand your HR expertise in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment while supporting employees across the U.S.

As a People Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring a high level of HR support and service. You’ll manage and maintain our core HR systems and processes, contributing to a seamless employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Serve as the first line of support for employee questions via Siit.io, Gmail, and Slack

  • Become a subject matter expert on Medely’s HR policies and programs, escalating issues as appropriate

  • Manage and maintain employee records and reports, continuously identifying ways to improve efficiency and document security

  • Support and administer HR tools including our HRIS (Rippling), LMS (Workramp), and performance management platform (Lattice)

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to execute onboarding, employee changes, terminations and scheduling.

  • Additional projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Experience in Human Resources; experience supporting remote teams is a plus

  • Familiarity with HR best practices and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

  • Proficient in Mac, Google Suite, Excel and comfortable adapting to new systems

  • Detail-oriented, approachable, and eager to learn
